Does Endless Detour prevent ETB?

If an opponent is casting Ganax, Astral Hunter, and on the stack I cast Endless Detour targeting Ganax, would Ganax still get the ETB trigger?
No because endless detour targets a spell, a card is a spell only while on the stack, therefore its etb has not yet triggered, because it has not entered the battlefield yet. Think of it like a counterspell-like interaction.

No. Ganax, Astral Hunter doesn't enter the battlefield before being returned to the deck. The ETB ability never has an opportunity to trigger.
