Uncharted Domain

It seems really good (like $20-30 good, bannable in Standard good) but not particularly unbalanced in formats like Commander. I like it.

Bannable in standard? A Sylvan Scrying that costs you your land drop? That enters tapped unless you're two lands behind? What actual lands are you scared of to be found?

It is very powerful to be able to tutor any land. This is great with Exploration-effects, but in any turn-5-or-less-format without reliable extra land drops, this is just skipping a turn/land for your ideal next land drop. Skipping your turn is a terrible price for practically any effect in Magic, this card is not bannable.

plakjekaas fair. I suppose it might be an issue for Amulet decks, but those aren't in Standard. I was particularly worried because this brought back flashbacks from Field of the Dead standard.

Sacrificing a land in play for a land in hand ends you up on 7 unique names a turn later too '^^ Golos and Field of the Dead together were problematic especially because they sped up the process. This slowing it down might actually slow the strategy to make it more fair to the other decks.

If it would tap for mana itself, it would probably be as broken as you're afraid of, I think. But as is, I'd need to be convinced by gameplay to see if it would be that bad.

My goal was to design an Evolving Wilds that wasn't so broken that you could tutor a Gaea's Cradle and use it the same turn. I figured since a nonbasic land was so powerful, since it's 99% of anything out there, having it go to your hand was a better balance.

I likely could do without the ETB tapped check, honestly
