So I created the rest of the "New" sword cycle hope you all enjoy them et me know what you guys think of them so were much harder to create neat and fun swords and some are kind of generic but powerful and high utility

Pro Art/Enchant- Item Description- A genaric artifact and enchantment hate card but with power as it exiles instead of destroys

Pro Colorless/Battle- Item Description- Steal a card and either make it hard for you opponents to take down a battle you don't want to activate or make easier to activate your battles or one you do want to activate

Pro Player/Walker- Item Description- Instead of giving protection from every player as that would make the planeswalker part redundant so I limited it to 2 players that way in a standard four man pod there would be at least one player that interact with the equipped creature but that player's planeswalkers still couldn't touch it

Pro Planeschase/Archenemy- Item Description- the most niche of the swords but the ability for a creature to ignore most schemes and phenomenons and let roll a planar die an additional time for free or give you a scheme free turn plus everyone fighting the archenemey a draw is powerful

Pro creature and land- Item Description- a quick design but a good one I think keeps opponents stuff tapped and keeps your stuff safer while unhappiness your lands

Preparation and Adaptability makes me think the Thunder Junction would be an interesting place for an Archenemy set. Got one fourteen years ago, and one seven years ago. Is it really that unpopular/obscure?

Nature and Civilization should exile "target" artifact or enchantment.

Right now, there's only, like, four battles that have abilities worth protecting from. I get it's for the sake of the cycle, so this is an observation and not a criticism, but that might be the most niche text this side of "can't be blocked by Saprolings".

I haven't kept up with Legacy/Vintage recently--is True-Name Nemesis still a problem card? Or am I a decade behind the times? After one person loses in a four-person pod, Spark and Dimensions basically grants protection from opponents.

A lot of unique and interesting effects here, but also very narrow. But I guess Fractured Powerstone exists, so narrow is okay. I'm just not sure how to evaluate them fully. They look good.

legendofa For planeschase I wouldn't say it's obscure particularly from the MOM commander precons but Archenemy is certainly less well known and your right Thunder Junction would be a prime candidate for a new archenemy though 99.99999999999999% sure that it won't happen and probably will not get another archenemy any time soon or ever as the Nicol Bolas one did poorly over all.

And as far as ik True-name doesn't see much play anymore can't say for certain that doesn't see any play but haven't heard of it being used these days.

I forgot to make a pro land and creature sword opps

Truename Nemesis is mostly a cube card now. However, protection from players makes the equipped creature impossible to block without an artifact removal spell. I think it's bad taste to add a beneficial combat damage trigger to it.

Also, once again, in 1v1 gameplay, you yourself will be one of the 2 players, meaning your equipment, controlled and owned by you, will fall off the creature because it can't be targeted or equipped by your stuff as soon as it has protection from you, making it quite the useless sword.

The concepts are fun to speculate about, but I honestly can't see a nonbroken sword that gives protection from creatures or players making it to actual print.

plakjekaas I believe the intention is more like "When Sword enters, choose (up to) two players. Equipped creature has ... protection from the chosen players." So the wording might need a little massaging, but you wouldn't ever give it protection from yourself.
