Soo... Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is pretty cool! Slap your opponents for some extra upkeeps! Who doesn't like an extra upkeep or two... Or 6. I've built this deck differently because.. Well mostly because I think people have been overlooking a little something.

IT'S GETTING FROSTY!

So the card I think people have been overlooking for Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is Marit Lage's Slumber. Loads of people are already using Replicating Ring with Obeka, Splitter of Seconds so it just kinda seems like a no brainer to use Marit Lage's Slumber if you ask me.

SEARCH AND SPLIT!!

You probably noticed that Obeka, Splitter of Seconds is the only creature card in the deck and even with a playset, it can be difficult to get her sometimes. So we're gonna use my favorite red spell, Transmogrify! As long as we have either Goblin Assault or Nettlecyst on the field, we can exile a creature token to go dig for an Obeka, Splitter of Seconds. The germs are excellent fodder as they leave behind Nettlecyst and the goblins also make great fodder.

AN UPDATE ARRIVES!!!

When I first made this deck I may have just thrown in a few cards as filler cause I couldn't originally think of what to add. But with some more thinking I've added the following cards to the deck. Brood Birthing because it produces creature tokens that could ultimately help either ramp if needed. I also replaced a few lands to kinda help with my original combo. Frostwalk Bastion is a great card as I can turn it into a creature and it also counts as a snow permanent, but I've also added one Dark Depths because if I'm gonna have a Marit Lage deck, I gotta have at least one Dark Depths.
