Our New Robot Overlords

Casual Colorless Counters Mono-White Tron

Maenir

This deck was original a Modular tribal deck with Arcbound all over the place. You can see the legacy of this in all the cards that add +1/+1 counters (mostly for the Hangarback Walker s now). These days I find they are mostly less efficient than other artifact creatures in the Steel series, but I've kept this a colorless tron deck that's Eldrazi-free except for non-creatures. Currently only the Apostle's Blessing s have colored mana symbols on them, and they're in here because truly colorless cards that are good instants are hard to come by, and I only had 1 of the others used here.

The plan is largely to get Tron online and pull Cranial Plating then beat down with it on an Etched Champion or something. Not of This World is basically free to use when protecting anything with Cranial Plating on. Darksteel Citadel boosts the artifact count. While I could have included other artifact lands, I've chosen to try to keep colored mana symbols out of the deck

This is for very casual kitchen table games, so I don't mind that it's not 60 cards.

Trivia: I once played against Brandon Sanderson in a Archenemy game with the deck. (He was the Archenemy) We won, so I had him sign a copy of Tron in my deck. So while there are three signed cards, none is by the artist.
