Hidden Obsession Snow Spirits

Mild customization from the competitive version.

What stays: Supreme Phantom as a lord. Rattlechains is protection and enables flash shenanigans. Curious Obsession to draw cards.

The core of the deck is based on sticking and protecting threats and playing the tempo game. In order to further this game plan, I removed the more expensive although very powerful, counterspells. The revised idea is to tap / phase / grant hexproof to dampen aggro or blunt wraths and targeted removal while flooding the board with attackers.

add The Key to the Vault What Changes: March of Swirling Mist and You See a Guard Approach are flexible as they can protect your creatures or keep your opponents' from attacking or blocking. They are a bit more efficient and flexible than counterspells.

The spice of the deck is Hidden Strings. it super-charges everything that your cards want to do : it ramps by untapping lands, gives vigilance by allowing you to both attack and untapping creatures. This creates additional creature synergies as you it untaps creatures for Shacklegeist or lands to draw with Spectral Sailor and pump Ascendant Spirit.
