Enchantment (4)

Edgar Markov's Lost journal...

Final entry...

Sanguine Bond...

I grabbed all my best spells and ignored the Trespasser's Curse as I headed into the Leechridden Swamp of the Golgari Rot Farm. A nasty, vial place that seems to celebrate life through something else's death. As I made my way through the Swamp I prepared myself and cast a few small creatures to get ready for whatever was about to come my way, but I was met with silence. This place was left seemingly ungarded. What I did find was that I got hurt from the Pooling Venom in the Contaminated Ground I found everywhere. Everything I did seemed to hurt, not alot at first, but the more I did the more I got hurt. In the mist, I heard the Hissing Miasma and I felt the Contaminated Bond as I sent my best creatures out swinging at what seemed to be something, but nothing at all. It was as though they were under some Sinister Possession, they would come back fine but I wasn't. Before too long the Circle of Affliction of my very own Clawing Torment started to sooth me. As I drew in my final breaths, no longer did I fear my past as the Exquisite Blood of the Sanguine Bond filled me. I did this for you Sorin.

A true Creatureless and Enchantment only deck.

The goal of this deck is to hold on long enough for the key combination of Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond to take off and can be very mean in multi-player. Exquisite Blood is triggered whenever an opponent loses life, which means you don't have to cause the damage for Exquisite Blood to trigger for you to gain life. You gaining life triggers Sanguine Bond, allowing you to target a new opponent to have lose life, which then triggers Exquisite Blood again.

Golgari Rot Farm is in there only to help with early game mana. I considered Caustic Tar and Polluted Bonds but they are too expensive. I cant find a Paralyze that is modern legal. I would exchange Paralyze for my Hissing Miasma, it is a little more early game aggressive

Any fun or more aggressive advice would be fantastic!
