Not much doesn't matter when Angels matter and dwarves matter, when vampires matter and warriors, barbarians, and berserkers matter

This is one that I threw together out of cards I had, so definitely still in the test phase and everything. I don't have any big plans to add powerhouse cards like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer or Jeska's Will or an expensive land base, mostly because I'd rather have a casual pile of cards that I like. But I'm always open to suggestions and always looking for fun new plays.

Early Game

I really want to start with a few creatures or rocks and then hit Dihada pretty early, unless there are more threats on the table than we have blockers for. Throwing away Dihada after one -3 is often okay, but she's a lot better when she sticks around. The first Dihada activation works great with Kardur, Doomscourge if you have him or find him. Dihada, Binder of Wills will often make enough treasures for Kardur, who then protects Dihada for a turn, who then gives Kardur indestructible on the next turn to protect Dihada again.

But there really are no bad hits here for Dihada's -3 ability. The deck wants things in the graveyard, treasures, and it often has more small creatures on board than my opponents to keep a really great walker around.

Mid

Attacks and mill are the name of the game in the middle. The more you get in the graveyard the better, and this deck has a number of ways to give your creatures haste, which I just love haste in EDH, just because a summoning sick creature is often less useful when it has to sit through three turns, and can eat removal at any time. This deck doesn't always hit haste on creatures, but every now and then you hit Garna, the Bloodflame or Lovisa Coldeyes off your Dihada activation and it leads to some splashy turns with those treasures to use.

Late Game

I mean, I love big, maybe not optimal creatures, and this deck has some of my absolute favorites. Shauku, Endbringer is a very janky card, but give her haste, and maybe Umbral Mantle and she can ping a lot of exile. Leyline Tyrant can build up a lot of red mana that can be pushed into things like Basandra, Battle Seraph or Inferno of the Star Mounts or to use for cards exiled with Dire Fleet Daredevil or Dead Man's Chest...which...dead man's chest has been an absolute overperformer. It's a gamble, but sometimes you get such good value, and sometimes you just exile your opponents top bunch of cards, which can be so randomly amazing : )

And hitting Magda, Brazen Outlaw into Maskwood Nexus can be so good. You should always have the treasures to activate Magda, and then when all your things are dwarves, you get more treasures, and get more dragons.

All in All

So, this deck has mill, reanimation, lots of attacks to be made, and a commander who always has something great to do. She helps creatures, she mills you, creatures treasures, and she a lot of the time gives you the mana to pay her commander tax. It's a janky deck with a bad mana base, and I honestly wouldn't have it any other way. I mean, where else than a reanimator deck and I going to play the portal 2 Archangel, one of my favorite cards of all time. With the amount of mana you have floating around, Archangel with Firja's Retribution and maybe Umbral Mantle can actually be about as effective as she ever gets : ) Umbral Mantle also just gives a lot of utility in it's pseudo-vigilance and buff. A lot of the time I can have it on a big creature who attacked, and just have mana open to threaten it as a blocker and never have to spend it.
