Suggested cuts: Waste Not - enemy discard is a secondary strategy, and viable, but this is a card that is only a payoff for a secondary strategy. I think it may be dead enough that it doesn't warrant a slot.

Logic Knot - would be sweet if it was {U} less. As is, it's a strictly inferior counterspell that uses a valuable resource to be effective

Fervent Denial - 5 mana is a lot to hold up, 7 will almost never happen in a board-presence focused deck.

Dark Deal - wheels are decent here, but this Mind Rots yourself. Have 4 cards, cast this, end up with 2. The other wheels can benefit from enemy high card counts. This does disrupt opponents, but that's gonna draw some ire and you just binned half your resources. If you can withstand the ire you should be winning anyway. Something like Frantic Search would be better IMO.

Zombie Infestation - two cards plus one upfront is a steep price. I don't know that you have enough reanimation to need to dump your hand at instant speed when you already have Varina available.

Dismantling Blow - a glorified Disenchant 90% of the time. A 6 mana spell the rest of the time.

Suggestions not many at this stage. Gleaming Overseer is a consideration if you find yourself heavy into tokens. I'm a big fan of a few cards in your maybe list: Obsessive Search, and Kindred Discovery. Though the latter is slow.

Matzalantli is cute but I'd be wary of labelling it as ramp when assessing your manabase given it needs 7 mana to activate, and won't be online until at LEAST turn 5. It's defs more a Gilded Lotus than Arcane Signet

I playtested it, and to be quite honest there's not enough sorcery/instant. I had Magus of the Future on the table turn 5 and it took 4 turns of filling up my board of lands before spells that triggered my wizards appeared.

If you want my opinion, I strongly suggest getting your wizard count to about 12-15 instead of 20, and fill your deck with cheap cantrips like Thought Scour, Gitaxian Probe, Brainstorm, Sleight of Hand, Disrupt, Mental Note, Obsessive Search or even Peek. I think you catch my drift; cost 1, draw a card. That way you easily find your wizards and the stuff you need to trigger them.

Also, 40 lands for a otherwise pretty aggressive deck is WAY too much, I'd target 36, maybe even 35.

Searing Wind is just bad. Get that out of your deck XD

Otherwise, there's a long road ahead of you, but you're on the good way.

Take out Downpour, Silent Submersible, Sphinx of Magosi, Animating Faerie, Reach Through Mists, Arrester's Admonition, Sage's Row Denizen, Obsessive Search, and Clairvoyance.

I think some madness effects could go really well in the deck, such as Obsessive Search. Neat deck overall.

As a note, not that it applies to Anje Falkenrath but it could apply with other cards: a card could have a madness cost equal to its mana cost. There is nothing that says it can't. Falkenrath Gorger gives your Vampire creature cards madness, equal to their mana cost. There are also cards that have a madness cost equal to their mana cost, such as Asylum Visitor and Obsessive Search .

It's important to note that a card that grants an alternative cost or similar ability such as madness, flashback, scavenge, etc. will actually tell you what that cost is.

When exploiting the discard mechanic of your commander don't forget Madness Call to the Netherworld turns that disard into a free recursion to hand effect instead Grave Scrabbler costs you 1B for the same effect but does give you a body for it too. Obsessive Search turns the discard into a draw for one blue.

After reading your commander I immediately went to the list for a madness deck I'm working on. Here's some cards I could see that might fit. I especially like the idea of playing off the discard.

I think Teferi falls into the category of 'win more'. He's very good if you're already ahead (have some stax pieces out or have a wiped board), but for the most part is a card I wouldn't want to see. Estrid is already really difficult to get out as the game goes on. Jamming her out early gives her a chance to tick up without many creatures present. Drawing this guy mid game or flipping him with Estrid would feel pretty bad. He'd be a 5 mana Vindicate or Obsessive Search. Outside of creatures he's also blue, meaning he could eat a Pyroblast or Red Elemental Blast.

If I was to consider another plansewalker I'd probably run Elspeth, Knight-Errant as she's cheaper, can tick up to create chump blockers (or good blockers under humility), could function as a wincon, and have a more relevant ult.
