I'm not sure if Teysa would even want a friend, but Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker is a bit of a kindred, maybe they could hang for tea?

If you want people to attack a lot there is Angel's Trumpet, very handy that your Spirits have flying! Exquisite Blood is a combo piece, but it's also a strong card on it's own, it synergizes with your Commander very powerfully I'd say, if people come at you their creature's die, and if they go at each other then you gain life. Breena, the Demagogue can be used to make your stuff better. Shadrix Silverquill has a really good interaction with your Commander, if you give someone an Inkling and they come at you it dies and you get a 1/1, and if you give your board +1 counters twice than your 1/1s clobber inklings. I would run Transmogrifying Wand over Murder, it's 4 mana for the first creature but only 1 more for the next 2. You could also try something like Reckless Spite. I am a big fan of True Conviction, very good with a big token army.

It's a pretty janky card but I often enjoy using Axis of Mortality in White decks that are trying to stay on budget, you can punish or reward people as you see fit, it's a very strong political effect, and if people are losing creatures to your ability to lower your life total (while giving you evasive attackers) then you're probably gaining ground.

It's up to you obviously if you don't want to run more lands, but have you thought about including some MDFCs? I use Hagra Mauling  Flip and am happy to see it now and then, ETB tapped lands aren't great, but if the spell effect is also a playable effect their value is incredible. I'm sure you could find a use for Malakir Rebirth  Flip too, though that is less budget.

In the time that I've played Commander I've come to the conclusion that one of the hallmarks of a good deck is card draw, especially low to the ground effects. Stuff like Sign in Blood and Night's Whisper are very good in practice, there are also things like Village Rites, Corrupted Conviction, Plumb the Forbidden, and Reckoner's Bargain, these are all handy with your tokens, but also if you can't protect your Commander and they're getting blown up anyways, this can also prevent effects like Oubliette from working (which can be VERY helpful if your deck depends on your Commander, you might want a couple in the deck in case). If you think your tokens might stay 1/1s, or that you can get them to die with consistency then Skullclamp draws a lot of cards. Stinging Study draws a whopping 7 cards in this deck, for only 5 mana, I'd say that'd be handy late game.

Now for my second favorite color.

I absolutely love Prison Term I put this in every deck that has white.

The player with Impact Tremors doesnt want to see this next one. Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, this card is kinda like No Mercy that's another one I must add to my black decks). There is a white version of No Mercy I forget what it's called. It doesn't destroy them like No Mercy. It instead turns them into "statues" sorta.

This next one whould not be good enough if it wasn't for flash. Temporal Isolation

Righteous Aura is soo frickin good. It gets around hexproof, ward and shroud.

Considering your goad-strategy, Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker seems really good. Not a goad mechanism herself of course, but is very good at making others think twice about attacking you. In a similar way, Orzhov Advokist seems pretty awesome too.

I bet your pod loves playing against this deck +1.

Have you considered Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker in case you come up against someone running burn?

Hi Mattio38, thanks for elaborating a bit. There are a lot of interesting legendary creatures out there, but not many that will help you to outright close out games AND be cheap to cast. It's usually one or the other :) It also depends on how you want to close out games and how many turns you want to take for that.

For instance, white provides some excellent legendary creatures to block your opponents' progress. I'm thinking of cards like Myrel, Shield of Argive, Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant  Flip, Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker, Thalia, Heretic Cathar and Linvala, Keeper of Silence.

Black legendary creatures have some massive damage dealing and recursion capacity. Especially cards like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, Ghoulcaller Gisa and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed.

And then there are some red legendaries you haven't considered yet that influence your damage-dealing capacity, like Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. By the way, I'd also really recommend Grenzo, Havoc Raiser as he's given me some insane value in past games.

Not sure if any of this helps, but here you go.

Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker doesn't target. Spells and abilities only target if the text says the word "target". This may seem like a pedantic statement, but it matters for a couple of reasons. The first of which is that targets are always chosen as spells or abilities are put on the stack. Choices that are not made as part of putting the spell or ability on the stack are made and announced while resolving the spell or ability. The second reason it is important that Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker doesn't target is that your opponents can (or must) sacrifice permanents with hexproof or shroud.

608.2d If an effect of a spell or ability offers any choices other than choices already made as part of casting the spell, activating the ability, or otherwise putting the spell or ability on the stack, the player announces these while applying the effect.

The entirety of 601.2 (the process for casting spells) and the relevant rules saying it applies to triggered and activated abilities to follow.

Targets for spells/abilities are always chosen as those effects go on the stack. HOWEVER, notice that no targets are made as part of Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker’s ability. The effect just goes on the stack and when it resolves they then need to sac something - it’s never “targetted”.

The choice of what to sacrifice is made when the Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker trigger resolves. If you tap 5 lands for mana in this scenario they will have to sacrifice 5 things. However; if you allow the first sacrifice trigger to resolve and your opponent has chosen what to sacrifice then you will not be able to activate mana abilities until after the sacrifice as been made.

Of course this doesn't mean that they can just choose what to sacrifice to "force" you to let the ability resolve.
