Child of Alara
Legendary Creature — Avatar
Trample
When Child of Alara dies, destroy all nonland permanents. They can't be regenerated.

Child of Alara is thematically one of my favorite cards in MTG, just so unsettling. Unrelated but I also ran mine through the washer a few years back lol RIP atomic fetus.

Western One on One
Artifact - Fortification
Whenever fortified land becomes tapped, No more than one creature can attack each combat. No more than one creature can block each combat.
Fortify (: Attach to target land you control. Fortify only as a sorcery. This card enters the battlefield unattached and stays on the battlefield if the land leaves.)

Child of Alara instead of Fusion Elemental… Damn thing was a useless 8/8 even back when it could’ve been playable in Conflux Zoo decks.
-
Supreme Verdict instead of Duneblast
-
Medomai the Ageless instead of Primeval Spawn… Works better with the Yore-Tiller Nephilim
-
Circuitous Route instead of Explosive Vegetation. Includes Guildgates (like Gond Gate)
-
Drop Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse for Warped Landscape and Terminal Moraine… I can tell that you may be a fledgling EDH Player… Those lands have since been phased out due to the restriction of being Basic Fetchlands with no net Benefit… The others can act as generic mana producing lands regardless of whether they get cracked… Ash Barrens and/or Krosan Verge, your choice for replacing one of the slow Fetchlands.

Gaddock Teeg jumps to mind, as that locks a lot of things down. Child of Alara seems to elicit groans, as does Sen Triplets. Edgar Markov is pretty relentless as well, and puts a pretty big target on the player. I’m interested to see what other recommendations people have!

You could also change your commander to Child of Alara for a repeatable boardwipe with all of the sacrificial lands.

I’d very much disagree Andramalech. I believe yours would boast the higher win ratio were we to pair them for a match, or just in general against whatever matchups these decks would see.
You have a healthy assortment of evasion, removal and countermagic that I simply don’t have access to in mono , and I’m fairly sure that would tip the scales toward a win. If—and that’s a big if—I secured the Child of Alara sacrifice, I think it would be difficult to come back from. But the odds of arriving there are slim.
