I don't know why, but the Abzan Bilbo is the commander that seems the most fun to me out of all the new commander cards. Its very much unlike me to want to gain life for the sake of life, but that 111 life effect is just so fun even if its hard to ever get it off.

The main gameplay is to gain life, such as through the Soul sister-style effects, and spend life, through effects like Phyrexian Arena and Aetherflux Reservoir. If we can win by cracking Bilbo with his 111 life effect it'll be incredibly fun, especially with Blossoming Bogbeast and Craterhoof Behemoth, but the main ways to win are to either combo off or blast people with Aetherflux Reservoir. Mainly because Felidar Sovereign's instant win just doesn't seem fun to me.

As for combos, we have the basic life-gain centered ones. Two, specifically. First, Sanguine Bond/Dina, Soul Steeper/Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Exquisite Blood can drain out an opponent, you'll just need to trigger the combo again for someone else. And the second is Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista. Have a Ballista out with two counters, active Heliod targeting it, ping some, get a replacement counter, profit.
