"We gather the past from surface dwellers, and sell it right back to them."
-- Golgari Findbroker

A value-centric Sultai synergy deck.

Full-fat version of Muldrotha's Value EmporiumTM for the new Gladiator format. Brought upto size from both that and my Historic Brawl version of it, with 24 non-land cards, mostly those (from the deck above) that already proved themselves in standard, with a few all-stars that arrived since (and 16 non-basic lands).

More detailed description on that deck page, but you probably already know how it should work: relish the value and live the dream!

If you want to play this deck in Historic/Brawl queues you'll need to make a couple of changes:
-- Historic: Uro OUT for your choice of 3 drop rampy/stablising permanent. I'm currently running Blex, Vexing Pest  , and it has been a fine card in that slot, but there are different/better choices (eg Kiora, Sarulf, King Narfi's Betrayal, Nissa, Steward of Elements, Pestilent Cauldron  ?, Journey to Eternity   etc).
-- Brawl: Zagoth Crystal OUT for Arcane Signet, Evolving Wilds OUT for Command Tower.

Bringing this version of the deck to parity with a version I've been playing in Historic queues. There's not a huge difference, but a few slots got upgraded, and cards like Nethroi which were closer to flavour inclusions than bombs have made way for cheaper options.

I believe that The Phasing of Zhalfir is the only additional card that isn't included here. In Historic I cut Memory Lapse but I still would run it in Gladiator.

There's also now Deathrite Shaman which probably should be an auto-include? But I admit I have never played with this card before (before my time) so honestly don't know what the cut would be. It would have a lot of fodder in the graveyard however this deck being a recursion deck might make it a bit of a nombo? Or is that not possible with such a powerful card? Answers on a postcard...
