Trying a new take on Eggs and lifegain with this one. For a budget deck (<6 tickets on MTGO) this is surprisingly decent, and I don't think I've seen anyone ever try something similar, so I'm quite proud of it.

Here's a quick rundown of the cards and what they're supposed to do:

  • Trelasarra, Moon Dancer gets bigger and provides card selection whenever you gain life.

  • If you can gain lots of life in one turn and still keep 2 mana up, Voracious Wurm comes into play as a MASSIVE beatstick.

  • Speaker of the Heavens provides one 4/4 token a turn if your life total is high enough.

  • The Book of Exalted Deeds has an awkward mana cost, but once it hits the board you're pretty much guaranteed to get a 3/3 Angel token every turn.

  • Teething Wurmlet provides a bit of lifegain and grows bigger each time you play an artifact, which you'll be doing quite often.

  • Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender is like Trelasarra, but its ability triggers when your artifacts hit the graveyard. Since you're cracking eggs every turn, expect this to trigger many, many times.

  • Sunbeam Spellbomb, Implement of Improvement, Candy Trail and Potion of Healing are... well... the eggs. Cheap artifacts you can play for 1 or 2 mana, then crack them at anytime for lifegain and/or card draw. Candy Trail also provides scry, which really REALLY comes in handy and is often enough to turn awful opening hands into something decent.

This is the budget version of the deck, with a cheap manabase and only Path to Exile as interaction in the mainboard. A non-budget version would include fetchlands, one or two Lush Porticos, a playset of Urza's Sagas and a singleton Shadowspear, as well as better removal in the form of Solitude and Prismatic Ending.
