This is the first deck I've ever posted, and only the second I've ever built since I have returned to playing MTG. I used to play around the time that Fourth Edition and Ice Age were out, but I was just a kid then. Things have changed a lot.

So this is a Merfolk deck, with a twist. I like being different, and hopefully haven't mangled it irreparably. I haven't even had a chance to playtest it yet. Comments, advice, and votes appreciated!! :)

So this deck has changed fairly radically since I first built it. Originally, I was hoping to build something viable that wasn't exactly the same as any other Modern Merfolk build. What can I say, I prefer to be different.

It still contains some things that aren't in your normal Merfolk decklist, but many of the more odd budget cards I used in the beginning because that was all I had at the time have since been weeded out.

Not sure I'll ever have the budget to do the whole Aether Vial thing.
