Wave of Reckoning

Sorcery

Each creature deals damage to itself equal to its power.

A bit torn on The Battle of Bywater. If I'd run Retribution of the Meek this would be an easy swap, but is it better than Wave of Reckoning or Fell the Mighty? Way cheaper yes, but also as powerful? Would be really good for the cmc, but Food won't do much for us in this deck.

Also Shire Scarecrow can be good for mana fixing, but I have no clue what to take out :D

I think the board wipes that hit early at a low cost are best here. Also board wipes that make the creatures deal damage to them selves. Since Gisela, Blade of Goldnight splits it in half on your stuff, it will not kill your creatures, additionally it doubles the damage your opponents creatures would deal to them selves.

Some of the board wipes I recommend are

When paired with your cmdr

Other good ones when paired with your cmdr

Moving on to other good wipes, and noncreature wipes, and choice wipes.

Peacekeeper's Dictate

Enchantment

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, each creature that player controls deals damage to itself equal to its power. If any creature dealt damage this way dies, its controller creates a 0/2 colourless golem artifact creature token with defender.

MaRo's teaser for March of the Machine mentions a Legendary Creature - Ape Dinosaur Turtle, which will propably be Kogla, the Titan Ape + Yidaro, Wandering Monster. Create the card you expect that to be, following the pattern of the already previewed dual legends for that set.

Whoops, my bad Pyruscreed - just realizing I never responded to this.

So while Serra is a cool card I have never seen before tbh - the way I play the deck - really low to the ground - it doesn't quite make the cut.

1) My wincons are instant wins, and most of them less cmc than Serra. See below. So the play pattern is: I ramp into Arcades, I protect him, I play a bunch of walls and draw a bunch of cards. And then I play one of these on a developed board.

Akroma's Will Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive Tower Defense Triumph of the Hordes

2) I play a bunch of one-sided board-wipes that rely on my walls having low power. So the counters funk these up a bit.

Retribution of the Meek Slaughter the Strong Wave of Reckoning

Thanks very much for commeting!

Wave of Reckoning and soon to-be-released Baldin, Century Herdmaster would be powerful additions. Also, how about Colfenor, the Last Yew for a little recursion?

Hey, carpecanum, thanks for the comment!

Odric, Lunarch Marshal is going in immediately. Minding him, I think there's some other walls I could add in to make his ability that much stronger.

I've seen Wave of Reckoning in pretty much every Arcades deck I researched and slowly but surely I'm coming around to adding it.

As for Sight of the Scalelords, that would mess up some of my other cards like Slaughter the Strong, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, and Fell the Mighty. Besides, I already have four things (if you include Odric) to give vigilance.
