Reaver Titan

Artifact — Vehicle

Void Shields — Protection from converted mana cost/mana value 3 or less ((Remember the acronym debt.) This can't be damaged, enchanted, equipped, blocked or targeted by anything with converted mana cost/mana value 3 or less. Anything 3 or less attached to this immediately falls off.)

Gatling Blasting — Whenever Reaver Titan attacks, it deals 5 damage to each opponent.

Crew 4 (Tap any number of creatures you control with total power 4 or more: This Vehicle becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.)

the interactions of Chromatic Star, Aether Spellbomb, or Executioner's Capsule all still happen - whenever a card lists its own name, it’s just meaning “this card”. So you can use all this abilities, and just treat any instance of “CardName” with “ThisCard”.

So specifically:

  • Yes your Mishra’s Warform Chromatic Star can sac itself, and draw a card on going to the grave.

  • Yes your Mishra’s Warform Aether Spellbomb can sac itself for either of those 2 effects.

  • Yes your Mishra’s Warform Executioner's Capsule can sac itself to destroy a nonblack creature.

  • Yes your Mishra’s Warform Reaver Titan will deal the 5 damage on attack.

  • Yes your Mishra’s Warform Skysovereign, Consul Flagship will deal damage on both etb and attack.

I made a Mishra, Eminent One artifact deck recently. He creates a token that has a different name of the original non-creature artifact card, meaning...does the leave the battlefield interaction of something such as Chromatic Star , Aether Spellbomb, or Executioner's Capsule not work with the token, as the token's name is Mishra's Warform? Ex) I create a Mishra's Warform 4/4 copy of Executioner's Capsule. I can't sacrifice the Mishra's Warform Executioner's Capsule to destroy a nonblack creature, can I? As there is no "Executioner's Capsule"to sacrifice because the name is Mishra's Warform on the copy. Same question for Reaver Titan or Skysovereign, Consul Flagship. The Mishra's Warform copy won't have the name Reaver Titan, so when it attacks, it doesn't deal 5 damage...correct? Thanks for all your help!

Mishra is a ton of fun! The incremental value he provides is insane, and abusing/copying his trigger makes him unstoppable!

I tend to focus on artifact EtBs, LtBs, and sacrificing the Warforms for card advantage.

  • Reaver Titan is an insane finisher

  • Coveted Jewel is super fun to loop, feels like cheating with how much mana and cards you get out of looping this.

  • Stubborn Denial protects Mishra when he hits the board.

Here's my decklist for inspiration:

lcarl3035 Thanks for suggestion, but the Mechtitan Core used to be a part of this deck. I recently replaced it with Reaver Titan. Similar outcome, but I don’t need to meet extra requirements to summon it. Additionally, Mechtitan Core is being exiled when the token dies, so I cannot resurrect it back with Greasefang, Okiba Boss

Maybe you're overestimating the mana flood, usually about 39-40 is a better number unless you have lots of draw sources. Since there are 100 cards, that directly translates in chances to draw lands, so 40 lands would mean 40% chances to draw one, which is ideal for decks that really need consistant drops at least till turn 3-4, like it's the case here. Your chances of getting this with 35 lands or lower are meager, especially here as most of the card draw comes after the 4th mana. Thankfully, we've got rocks here to help us curve it out nicely and get some acceleration, so I think the current basis of 36 (+1 MDFC) lands is good.

As for my playgroup, well, it mostly consists of my own decks that since I recently moved to study abroad and I'm with new players or people that don't have their cards with them, so yeah no quadruple digits indeed ! The Omnath Deck I built (linked above) is probably going to be the strongest and most expensive, even if I didn't buy a Scapeshift + Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle for it!

Regarding Manifold Key, I really like it because it's a one-drop that allows us to reuse Shorikai's ability to draw/select, untaps vehicle for the eventual necessary defense, and in late game might allow us to close in on the win with Shorikai's fat ass (or even better, Reaver Titan) when other player's are too full of blockers. As for Trinket Mage, you named it, fetching Skullclamp is dope as it's probably one of our strongest cards, or some ramp (likely Sol Ring) if we need it.

So yes, now it's really have because of how nothing is actually bad in there ! Surprisingly it is harder than for the Omnath, Locus of Creation deck, which is in an archetype that has way more cards than vehicles. It's not gonna get easier when Brother's War comes out, as I expect it to have some cool artifacts and vehicles I'll want to use as well! That's why I'll wait for it before ordering this deck.
