  1. Cast Twinflame targeting Etali, Primal Conqueror  Flip.
  2. Make token copy of Etali, trigger Etali ETB.

Q: Can I sac one of the Etali's with Food Chain before game state action makes me remove one.

  1. Put -1/-1 counter on Devoted Druid to untap itself.
  2. Tap for Green mana, repeat step 1.

Q: Can I activate Tayam, Luminous Enigma's ability and remove Devoted Druid's 2 -1/-1 counters before it dies to game state action?

I always like to play this combo. Here are some suggestions:

You need the Aura in order to pull off the combo. You need things like Heliod's Pilgrim and/or Commune with the Gods to find it as fast as possible.

You need to keep Midnight Guard alive for a full turn. Protect it with Gods Willing or Vines of Vastwood

This one is personnal, but I like the alternative with Ivy Lane Denizen + Devoted Druid. It works the same and can take opponents off guard.

DeoCroma +1 counters are not in my wheelhouse, but I'll do my best to help.

Hurricane - Bye bye fliers

Heart Warden - Elf the mindstone

Devoted Druid - Ramp

Regal Force - Draw

Elvish Guidance - Ramp

Legolas's Quick Reflexes > Arbor Armament

I think fight cards might be a better alternative to plummet. While they are reliant on having a high power creature, that doesn't seem to difficult given the deck. The flexibility allows you to hit other non-fliers as well. Inscription is definitely a potential consideration. Kami seems solid as well. I'd say include them as test swaps at least and see how they perform.

I can offer potential cuts should you wish.

Thanks, capwner! It is such a really fun combo, and adds such a layer of depth for the deck. It's just been a Collected Company deck for years, putting as many mini combos inside of it that worked.

It's funny that you mention Fury, because that was one of the pivotal cards that made me have to update and modernize the deck. It focused the deck on just the two card, most efficient combos, but still had to hope for the right drops against the right deck.

Agatha's Soul Cauldron was the final piece of the puzzle. It finally allows the deck to play through hate and interruption, and it adds so much more cohesion to the deck. My version of the deck adds in the Kitchen Finks/Viscera Seer combo, and the Devoted Druid/Vizier of Remedies combo, instead of focusing on the lifegain theme of other Heliod, Sun-Crowned decks. The addition of Glittering Wish makes it so much more consistent as a combo deck as well.

This new version of the deck I'm playing with has Sanctum Prelate as a backup almost playset to help the deck keep moving. Still messing with the numbers of each card, and seeing what I like.

Planning on writing a brand new deck description soon. But thanks for the kind words, and I definitely suggest playtesting it a bit yourself, the deck has been so much fun! :D

Soulus101 Hey there! Thanks for dropping a comment. So, I actually have Devoted Druid in there (I think you must've just overlooked it! No worries!!), and for Sythis, I have 8 enchantment creatures, as well as the 15 enchantments. So, with almost a quarter of the deck being castable enchants, it should be fine! I generally consider cards to be synergistic if they interact with 15+ other cards in the deck! I had considered one of the other enchantresses, but most are still cast and don't net the life that Sythis, Harvest's Hand does, and they're typically more expensive (monetarily, and cmc-wise). I appreciate this feedback, though. I definitely hadn't even considered the interaction with manifesting.

Enjoyed my Myrkul deck, yours looks like a higher-powered version though, nice!

Not sure about Sythis in this deck as you only have 15 castable enchantments, but I guess that's not too bad. Devoted Druid is infinite green mana once it becomes an enchantment. A pet card for me in this deck is Thieving Amalgam; when the cards you manifest from your opponents die, you can get an enchantment copy of them with Myrkul (regardless of what they were on the front side).

Last_Laugh on Chroma Has One Advantage Over …

It was a fun mono green deck that also ran Devoted Druid and Quillspike for an infinitely big vanilla creature with no evasion. Cream of the Crop was my card selection. I honestly can't remember what all was in the deck but it was a lot of fun.

msimcoe First of all i'd like to thank you for the detailed comment . For the mana base : i was thinking from the start about the fetch+shock lands modern Staples but i tried to avoid them because of the Life loss: with all the dorks that let me add mana while losing Life i thought It was a bit risky to try the Classic fetch + shock and i find the mana fix in this deck to be quite easily manageable . I tried Woodland Cemetery too but i found that sometimes It came tapped early in the game . [Fury] and dork removal Is the reason im playing target discard , to enable the dorks plays discarding their removal spells. But you're definitely right about the pure discard being Better later in the game , especially with Nath of the Gilt-Leaf. I've imagined this list to be a slower Elf ramp: "defending" the early plays by controlling the opponent hand i think its crucial for the strategy. But still , to find the perfect balance between the early targeted discard and the generic discard its something do be done here. I'll definitely try funeral charm by removing 2 target discard cards. I find Devoted Druid to be quite a nice addiction here because It has good sinergies with Tyvar the Bellicose and the +1 Tyvar Kell : to turn the mana dorks into Little beaters throught those cards was one of the approach i took while Building the deck. Do you think that this strategy Is lackluster ( keep in mind the slower-controllish way of this build) ? Harmonize feels good when It hits but you're right , im looking for some other draw engine to keep the flow going and i Will try Beast Whisperer for sure. What do you think about Harald Unites the Elves ? Maybe its Just me loving this card but i think It deserves a Place somewhere ahah.

PS. This Go Blank Will definitely find a Place in the sideboard . Yes , your input has been very helpful.
