This is a total mutation of my treebeard-and-the-walls-of-isengard-edh-doran. This is a Stax-Punisher style deck that will usually draw ALL the hate of the table.

Doran, the Siege Tower isn't the most commonly seen Punisher or Stax deck and will usually not draw so much hate early on.

This deck tend to play some kind of Nemesis but most people won't see it coming until all your Group Slug stuff hits the table.

Here is some great synergy:

Exquisite Blood + Extort to slowly but surely drain the table and get back the life you're paying for some of your effect of for all the hate you've gathered.

Polluted Bonds / Ankh of Mishra + Storm Cauldron ; you want mana, you better start getting some HP already. Add Root Maze and your opponents are really gonna have a bad time.

The deck is full of great synergy of pure and strong hate. It's not impossible to win with this deck but you're more likely to die before doing so but you'll get so much hate and people will have to learn to play around your card, this is what make this deck so interesting.
