Thanks for the suggestions!

  • For Disinformation Campaign , this is one I keep going back and fourth on in place of Notion Rain , and so far I've just found NR to be a little bit more effective for us, drawing us one more card, triggering our surveil-matters creatures one more time, and being able to be flashed-back with Mission Briefing , but I'll keep testing and see if DC isn't the correct play instead.
  • Drown in the Loch is one on my radar, but without much in the way of dedicated mill, I'm just afraid it will be a dead card too often. If I find that's not the case and I'm usually filling my opponents graveyard quicker than expected with cards like Thought Erasure , then I'll start working a few copies in.
  • Fatal Push is a fantastic card and would easily swap with Tyrant's Scorn , but doesn't fit with our budget unless we wanted to cut more Doom Whisperer s or start playing taplands.
  • Eliminate 's slightly easier casting cost and ability to hit planeswalkers is an attractive alternative to Tyrant's Scorn , but I really like TS's flexibility to bounce larger creatures later in the game, which is a far more common occurrence than sub-4 mana planeswalkers at this price point. It might be worth making room for in the sideboard, and definitely to keep in mind in case I start seeing an increase in walkers in my local meta.

Thanks for the help! I didn't know the sematics around the activated abilities wording, that's a huge benefit to know. As for the treason creatures, I totally missed that Delina taking them wouldn't end up doing much since they couldn't attack unless I also triggered an extra battle step. I'll probably keep Coercive Recruiter around because she'll scale infinitely with the number of clones (since each one is a pirate and triggers the last one), but will probably drop the other 3. I agree with Goblin Bombardment and Spawning Pit being good inclusions, they were actually both in here while I was building it and cut late, but I think they'd be a great replacement for the copying artifacts that don't actually copy for me. As for Disrupt Decorum , I love the card, but unless it drops like a rock due to the reprint I think it'll remain outside of our budget here. Thanks so much for the help!

I hadn't seen this spoiler before, absolutely 4 of easy, like you said a 3/3 that gives us GG devotion early, starts drawing us cards (a major shortcoming of this deck), and becomes a bit bigger with trample when our Castle Garenbrig s or Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx start to come online. This most likely just replaces Barkhide Troll , and probably knocks Avatar of the Resolute down to 3 since it doesn't trigger Avatar's pump ability the way Troll did. WotC giving this list some incredible love with this card.

I agree, I've been going back and forth on how many to run, used to run 2, upped it to 4 for testing, but you're right that it's truly just a dead card if I get a duplicate, so 3 definitely feels like the upper limit for it.

Thanks so much for all of the suggestions! As you can tell from the rest of my decks on here, I have much more experience playing red and green aggro/midrange than blue, so these all seem like fantastic suggestions to get things to work together more smoothly. A lot of my choices were fairly simple choices based on reach and making simple replacements for a similar build to this I ran in modern (IE directly swapping Quench in in place of Mana Leak, Unsubstantiate for Remand, Anticipate for Serum Visions, etc.), so there's a lot I missed transitioning to the Pioneer meta, like how Anticipate doesn't trigger Skulker. I think all of your suggestions are excellent and I'll definitely move quite a few cards around based on them.
