About Me
I am 22 years old working towards my Masters in Computer Engineering. I started playing Magic when I was 6, learning from my parent's friends on a living room floor. I learned for a few years after that then only played off and on until mid high school when I picked it back up with friends. I then went on to play in my college in a local tournament group. I still play today but for the most part I just design decks for others. My focus is the EDH format but I own 2 side decks for Modern.
My Deckbuilding
I love EDH format, and am here to build decks that are both competitive and affordable. I don't see a point in building a $1,000 deck if the average Joe can't buy that. That being said, my decks are overpowered and teeming with inexpensive prodigies. I make good use of those unnoticed inexpensive winners I don't normally see around.
I saw all these expensive decks on the top lists when I first joined the site and my thought was "How could I possibly afford that for any realistic playing?" I couldn't and neither could the rest of my working friends. So I set out to build decks priced at no more than 550, however the majority of my decks are set out to be under 400. In building a deck, my goal is making it both competitive and at a reasonable value for someone of the average financial status which gives all who want to play a fighting chance at big tournaments.
