Crew 2: (insert Crew Text here)
At the beginning of your endstep, if ~ attacked this turn, create a number of 2/2 Black Zombie Creature tokens with Decayed equal to the amount of combat damage dealt to an opponent by ~ this turn.
Sometimes, in the dead of night, a Ghoulcaller may find their cart overturned and rummaged through. Most times it is regarded as "cunning business tactics", not "corpse robbing".
Next challenge is Wildcard!

River Bed Scrounger
Creature - Fish
Whenever ~ deals combat damage to an opponent, you may sacrifice a creature. If you do, scry 1 then draw a card.
"Ah. the innocuous River Catfish. A local delicacy known far and wide for it's large size, tasty meat, and lethargus eating habits. Plop some bait in the water - any kind will do - and presto, you have...." - Cookbook exerpt
Creature - Fish Horror
Whenever ~ attacks, target a creature the defending player controls. They may sacrifice it. If they don't, ~ cannot be blocked this turn. If they do, put X +1/+1 counters on ~, where X is the toughness of the sacrificed creature. Remove it from combat.
"Nothing. From the river to the lakes, everything is gone. It's eaten everything; or everything hides from it as soon as it is nearby. We mostly get away with just leaving a carcass here and there to appease it. It's the only way we can tread the waters relatively safely." Ripped Journal Entry
Honestly, I love telling stories on cards. It can be so much more fun than just designing the body. Obviously, this could be a fish from Innistrad, maybe Eldritch Moon, but I feel like the upcoming Day/Night cycle mechanic might be interesting.
What are your thoughts on it? Love it? Hate it? Only looking at the Mythics/Legendaries?
Next Challenge is for a Transforming card. Make it mill based, please!

Rimu, Guileless Pretender
Legendary Creature - Ooze Shapeshifter
Whenever a creature enters the battlefield or attacks, you may have ~ become a copy of that creature until the end of turn. Whenever ~ is dealt damage, this effect ends.
”You know, you’d be a lot more convincing if you didn’t try impersonating someone that is right in front of you. Or maybe not being translucent and green.”
Ninjas. Pesky, pesky Ninjas.
Erasta, Guardian of the Kin-Tree
Legendary Creature - Spider Spirit
Flash, Menace, Reach
Whenever ~ enters the battlefield, prevent all damage dealt this turn by permanents your opponents control. For each 1 damage prevented this way, create a 1/2 Green Spider Token with Reach.
”I am not afraid of what is in the cave. I am afraid of what will happen after I leave the cave.”
Those who know, know. Next challenge is for something a tad different; I want a Legendary Land, based on a plane!

Uhhh I don’t know exactly which is needing to be done, but I have a itching to do a revised Barbarian for the cycle. Hopefully that’s ok?
Eista, Savage Brawler
Legendary Creature - Orc Barbarian
Double Strike, Trample
Whenever ~ attacks, roll a D4. If the result is three, untap ~. There is an additional combat step after this step. If you roll a four, ~ deals damage to each other creature equal to its attack.
If you have a full party, whenever ~ would deal damage to a creature you control, prevent that damage.
_”Eista no care if Boney-Man has sword. Eista punch Boney-Man.”
Honestly, I love this. Moraug, Fury of Akoum would love this guy, with all the extra combat steps. I figured instead of literally focusing on the class towards the abilities, make the card benefit and interact with the class associated. In this case, the Barbarian class giving you “advantage” on die rolls is an extreme benefit to this guy alone. The menace and +2 power is welcome, with the trample and double strike. And Haste for those times where there are moments when he falls, and needs to get back in the fight. Not to mention, he’d be welcome in a WUBRG Party deck, as his built-in “rage” can be completely negated, or used as a big wipe. Possibly too good, I’d imagine.
Damn. Pesky ninjas.
Silus, Gallant Sentry
Legendary Creature - Rhino God
Other creatures you control gain: “Whenever a creature you control blocks a creature, you may put two +1/+1 counters on it.”
Remove three +1/+1 counters from a creature you control: the next time a creature you control were to be put into the graveyard from the battlefield, instead remove all counters from it and tap it. This ability can only be activated once per turn.
”May the enemy lay tired at your feet, and your resolve wear them down to surrender”
Turtle god. Please.

I like it! or, him.
Slap Stick Comedy
Destroy target creature with power 3 or less. If you control a Food Token, instead you may sacrifice it to destroy target creature.
"HA! Get it? Stick-ing to it!?"
Next challenge is for another themed card for this guy!

Apex of Evolution
Search your library for any number of creatures and exile them. For the rest of the game, creatures you control gain any keyword abilities, Creature Types, and Colors of creatures exiled this way. Creatures you control have base power and toughness 10/10.
"Finally. Our great work is finished. Ladies, gentlemen, and any scum of the gene pool, meet your genetic superior." - Simic Gala Announcement Script
Good 'ol Selesnya is left!
September 1, 2021 2:03 p.m.
Helene, Nature's Oracle
Legendary Creature - Elf Scout
Whenever you cast a non-creature spell, deal 1 damage to a creature. If that creature is a Beast, it gains: "Whenever this creature dies, if it was dealt damage by ~, instead ~'s owner gains control of it."
"The wills of men are often untenable and unreliable; Animals, however, require nothing but praise and trust. Not to mention a bit of food."
Hopefully that meets your expectations, Epicurus. Oddly specific, but ok.
Ok, next challenge is for a Legendary Shinobi, in the vein of Sekiro!
September 1, 2021 7:54 a.m.
Creature - Human Pirate
Whenever you three cards are placed into your graveyard in a turn, transform ~.
"Who here wants to hear a story? For coin, I can weave tales that would make even the most hardened sailor shiver..."
Creature - Werewolf Pirate
Whenever ~ transforms, look at the top card of a library. If it is a creature, you may have that player mill 1. If not, you may have that player draw a card.
Whenever a player draws a card, transform ~.
"Be wary; that's another ship that we've lost, I'm docking your pay.. How could you lose a ship, much less three?"
Hopefully that works? Outta pirate territory, but maybe another Werewolf would be better! (that's the next challenge!)

ThomB96 I sure hope this doesn't become the case! I love Urabrask! He's the chill Praetor!
But, I do like you incorperating my ability!
Jin-Gitaxias, Sculptor of New Phyrexia
Legendary Creature - Phyrexian Praetor
Phyresis: Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a non-Phyrexian creature, tap that creature. For as long as ~ is in play, creatures tapped with this ability to not untap during their controller's untap step.
At the beginning of your upkeep, draw a card for each tapped creature your opponents control. If you draw more than 4 cards this way, you have no maximum hand size until your next turn.
"Resistance? What do they resist? Compleation? Perfection? Such thoughts defy our purpose; our penultimate goal: Unification. Oneness. Only then, may we undergo the Great Synthesis."
We already saw Vorinclex on Kaldheim, so maybe the Phyrexians are searching for ways to spread their Perfection? Create another new Preator!
