Zur and Eidolon of Countless Battles fetch

Zur the Enchanter can pull out Eidolon of Countless Battles. I'm wondering if he can be attached to Zur? I believe for it to be an aura it has to be cast with bestow, otherwise it enters as a creature still? Just need some reassurance.

It will be a simple creature.
If you pay the bestow alternate cost, the card will enter as an aura. If not, it will be a creature. Putting something on the battlefield for free from the deck with Zur does not give an option to pay the alternate cost - you are not paying anything for it.
