Words of wind interactions

So this is a couple of questions about Words of Wind. How does that work with Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, like if i cast Sol Ring can I tap the ring to activate words of wind and replace jhoira's draw effect with putting the ring back into my hand? And secondly, if I had Riddlesmith in play and replaced its effect with words of wind, would I still have to discard a card?

It's still infinite with another mana rock so it's still a great combo. It's unfortunate that it wouldn't be a good combo with riddlesmith, but it's still good with jhoira and Vedalken Archmage

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain's trigger is on cast, so it resolves before the spell that triggers it. That means Sol Ring will still be on the stack when you draw a card. If you have two Sol Rings you could potentially tap and bounce one in play when casting the other to form a loop.
If you choose to draw a card with Riddlesmith and the action is modified into taking a different action, you'll still need to discard a card.
