Will unmorphing(flip) Sagu Mauler in response to Crux of Fate keep him alive?

if i have a face down morph card I.E. Sagu Mauler and my opponent casts Crux of Fate and in response i un morph the Mauler, will he still get destoyed?(this question is more about the morphing response it has nothing to do with sagu mauler specifically)

Hexproof only stops abilities that target which Crux of Fate doesn't.

I assume your opponent chose the "Destroy all non-Dragon creatures" mode because you wouldn't need to unmorph Sagu Mauler otherwise.
No. Crux of Fate will still destroy all non-Dragon creatures, and Sagu Mauler is not a Dragon. It will still be destroyed.
