What's the CMC of kicked cards?

Hi everyone, if I cast Inscription of Insight kicked, what's the CMC? 4 or 8? If I have Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty on the battlefield, do I get the cascade trigger or no?

It will have a CMC of 4, and so will not trigger cascade with Imoti.
Unless a spell has an X in its cost, its CMC will be what's printed at the top-right of the card, regardless of any optional or mandatory additional or alternative costs.
