what is glass pool mimic's CMC in POD

If I use Fiend Artisan and pay only enough to activate the ability 1 + (X=0) can you search up Glasspool Mimic Flip or do you go by the face of the card being considered meaning Glasspool costs 3 instead of 0??

In all zones except the battlefield (and the stack for dual spell instead of spell land) MDFC only have the characteristics of their front side. So Glasspool Mimic Flip has a CMC of 3 for Fiend Artisan 's ability.
