What happens if an opponent loses before Isperia the inscrutable's trigger resolves?

I have an Isperia the Inscrutable EDH deck, and today I played a game in which Isperia dealt lethal damage to one opponent. I assume that once the opponent dies their hand ceases to exist and if I name a card it wouldn't be there, even if it had been before they lost, in which case I wouldn't get to tutor. Is this accurate?

Yes, that's right. Once a player is out of the game, they're out. In your example you name a card, and then Isperia's ability tries to make a nonexistent player reveal their hand. That's not possible, so no cards get revealed and the named card won't be among the revealed cards, so you don't tutor for a flying creature.
