Wanted Scoundrels + Entrancing Melody

So I had this interaction at a draft match lately. Just wanted to figure out if we did it correctly. So I stole my opponent's Wanted Scoundrels with an Entrancing Melody. Later the scoundrels die. Which one of us gets the treasures?In our game my opponent got the treasures, assuming that the dead trigger happens from my field, not his grave. Is this correct?

You are correct; your opponent gets the treasure tokens, because you controlled the Wanted Scoundrels as it died.
