if I cast Voracious Wurm with a Soul Warden in play, does Wurm enter with a counter?

Voracious Wurm's ability is a replacement effect, modifying how it enters the battlefield. This happens before the creature actually enters the battlefield.
Soul Warden's ability is a triggered ability that triggers whenever a creature enters the battlefield.
In order to get the counter on your wurmie, you would have to gain the life prior to the Wurm entering the battlefield. Otherwise, it'll be too late.

Not from just this. Soul Warden's ability is triggered when a creature enters the battlefield, not before. Voracious Wurm's ability isn't triggered; he'll be a 2+X/2+X when he enters the battlefield.
In other words, he'll already be on the battlefield and fully resolved by the time Soul Warden's ability is on the stack, much less before it has resolved.
