If I clone a permament, does the token add to the devotion count?

So to expand on Omniscience_is_life's point, it would all depend what the token was copying.
If it was copying something with a mana value in the top right corner (and that value included coloured pips) then yes, it would add to devotion.
If it was copying a permanent that didn't have a mana value in the top right corner (perhaps it was copying a 3/3 Beast Token for example) then it would not add to your devotion.

A clone copies all copyable aspects of a permanent: mana value (CMC), mana pips, everything written on the card. Just not counters, one-shot effects like Giant Growth , aura/equipment effects, etc.
