Tapped and Attacking Rules

Need a bit of clarification on cards such as Tilonalli's Summoner and Hero of Bladehold . Am i able to direct the tapped and attacking creatures where i wish them to go, or are they attacking the defending player those creatures are attacking?

You get to choose what the tokens are attacking. If you were required to attack the same player/planeswalker with them then the effect would be written more like Kaalia of the Vast to specifically say so.
