Satyr Firedancer, Searing Blaze and Persist

It's my turn I have a Satyr Firedancer on the battlefield, and I cast a Searing Blaze targeting my opponent and his Kitchen Finks, killing the Finks
Now I have a trigger from the Satyr to deal 3 damage to a creature, and my opponent has a trigger from the Finks to get it back on the battlefield
If I understand correctly, if it's my turn, my trigger will go on the stack first, meaning that I will be able to kill the Finks again.
And if I try to do it during my opponent's turn, my trigger will go in last, meaning the finks won't be in the battlefield when it resolve, and my Satyr trigger will fizzle

Incorrect.
You have to choose the target for a triggered ability at the time you put it onto the stack. At this time, Kitchen Finks will not yet have returned to the battlefield.
