Question on ETB effects and triggered abilities

Let's say i have a Octavia, Living Thesis on the battlefield and i play a Champion of Wits . If i play another instant while the champion's ETB trigger is still on the stack, and make it become an 8/8, will i draw 8 cards as it resolves or only the 2 original ones?

You'll draw eight cards. From Champion of Wits Gatherer rulings:

7/14/2017 Use Champion of Wits's power as the first ability resolves to determine if you want to use the ability and how many cards you draw if you do. If you use the ability, you discard two cards regardless of how many cards you draw. If Champion of Wits leaves the battlefield before that ability resolves, use its last known power.
