Question about Spawnsire of Ulamog.

Asked by Savitar1 9 years ago

When using Spawnsire of Ulamog 's second ability in an EDH game. can you bring in doubles of cards already in your deck? or can you still only have one of each card "in your deck"?

Depends on who you play with:

  • If you're playing kitchen table EDH, just start dumping Eldrazi from your collection onto the field.

  • In every other setting, "from outside the game" specifically refers to sideboards. Check if the group you play with allows sideboards. If they do, the sideboard is the same as a usual sideboard (the cards in the sideboard also have to be legal in the deck you use; singleton with color identity rules), except the maximum is ten cards, not fifteen.

so if i have a Ulamog's Crusher already in my EDH casual deck, i can't have another one in the sideboard?

Exactly. No more than one copy of any non-basic-land card in the combined deck and sideboard.
