Quarantine Field

When someone is playing Quarantine Field is the mana cost just 2 or is it the number of mana used to cast the card for each isolation counter on it then new number of mana. I would like to use Fragmentize to get it off the battle field, but I do not understand how the converted mana cost for Quarantine Field works.

When you cast QF, you state the value of X. Then, you pay the amount of mana:

A Quarantine Field on the stack will have the converted mana cost of however much mana was poured into it. On the stack, a QF with X=3 will have 3+3+W+W = 8 converted mana cost. So, it is not a legal target for Spell Queller.

In all other zones, the converted mana cost of that card is whatever is printed in the top right right corner, with X equal to 0. So, Quarantine Field has a converted mana cost of 2 on the battlefield and is a valid target for Fragmentize.
