Pyrewild Shaman and his effect

Here's what happened. I attacked my opponent with Gruul Ragebeast and I bloodrushed him with Pyrewild Shaman and Ghor-Clan Rampager to make sure Pyrewild Shaman's second effect would trigger. When the combat damage is being dealt could I bring back Pyrewild Shaman and bloodrush him again. Or does he have to chill in my hand until the next combat phase?

Pyrewild Shaman's second ability will not trigger until after Gruul Ragebeast has already dealt damage. - You could pay to bring back Pyrewild Shaman to your hand, but you would not be able to Bloodrush it again that turn.

• Technically, you could Bloodrush again, as it is still attacking until the end of the combat phase... it just wouldn't do anything, as damage has already been deal.

If your attacking creature had Double Strike, you would be able to bring Pyrewild Shaman back, after First Strike damage but before Regular damage, and Bloorush a second time.

Thanks for the info. I didn't have my double strike Bloodrush creature in my hand at the time. I didn't bloodrush a second time with Pyrewild Shaman after would. I just wanted to know if I could given the situation to were this question became a thing
