polymorphist's jest and enters the battlefield question

If I cast Polymorphist's Jest on a Returned Centaur to turn it into a 1/1 frog creature until end of turn, when it turns back to a zombie centaur will the trigger go off? I don't think it will since the creature didn't actually leave the battlefield, but I want to be sure.

You are right. It won't trigger. Changing characteristics or properties of a permanent doesn't make it enter ot leave the battlefield.
