Playing my opponents cards with Sen Triplets

Asked by Riv329 6 years ago

If I play Sen Triplets and it is my turn and my opponent has Worldspine Wurm worm in their hand and I do not have green mana or do not have the 10 mana that Worldspine Wurm costs, do I still get to play this card or not.

Maybe, but probably not. The easiest way to cast Worldspine Wurm is to pay 11 mana, 3 of which is green, and you stated you cannot do that. Keep in mind that you can play lands from your opponent's hand to try and get the right colors of mana. If you have some other method of casting the spell, you can use that though. If there is a Dream Halls on the field and you have a green card to discard, you could cast Worldspine Wurm that way, or you could use an As Foretold with 11 or more time counters on it. Sen Triplets allows you to play cards from your opponent's hand in any way you're able to, but does not inherently allow you to do so for free.
