Ovika + Morph

I have a pretty good grasp of how Ovika, Enigma Goliath works
but one thing that im not 100% on is the interaction with morph cards
so for example i have ovika out and i put Scornful Egotist onto the battlefield facedown for 3..do i get 8 goblin tokens when the 2/2 comes into play right?

Bitterjelly It seems you saw the error, but I'll still answer the other questions for clarity :)
Ovika won't work with Scornful Egotist because it's a creature and Ovika cares about noncreatures.
So I'll answer the rest of the questions using Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder
If we cast Scornful Egotist as the front, we'd get 8 Thrulls, as expected.
If we cast Scornful Egotist as the back, we'd get 0 Thrulls, because of these rules
- 708.4: "Objects that are cast face down are turned face down before they are put onto the stack, so effects that care about the characteristics of a spell will see only the face-down spell’s characteristics."
- 708.2a: "If a face-up permanent is turned face down by a spell or ability that doesn’t list any characteristics for that object, it becomes a 2/2 face-down creature with no text, no name, no subtypes, and no mana cost."
But what if we flip Egotist faceup?
These are the rules for flipping a card face up.
- 116.1: "Special actions are actions a player may take when they have priority that don’t use the stack."
- 116.2b: "Turning a face-down creature face up is a special action. A player can take this action any time they have priority."
This is the rule for casting.
- 701.4a: "To cast a spell is to take it from the zone it's in (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect."
Since we are not using the stack when flipping Scornful Egotist face up, it won't count as casting him, and thus Endrek won't trigger.
