Nooze and Herald of Anafenza Outlast

Not quite sure how the interaction with Herald of Anafenza and Necrotic Ooze goes. If you use the Nooze to outlast, do you get the 1/1 Warrior?

No, you don't.

Activated abilities are any abilities written as "(Cost) : (Effect)," while triggered abilities are any abilities that begin with "when," "whenever," or "at." All others are static abilities.

Herald of Anafenza has two abilities: an activated ability (Outlast; look at the reminder text) and a triggered ability (begins with "Whenever"). Necrotic Ooze has activated abilities, but not triggered abilities.

So Necrotic Ooze would read as though it has the Herald's Outlast ability, but it would not have the triggered ability, and it is the triggered ability that creates the 1/1 Warrior.
