my commander is purphoros God of the forge, my apponants commander is sigarda herons of grace, will my apponant still lose 2 life as a creature enters due to purports ability?

I'm curious about this ruling and card interaction. any help on this would be appreciated
you can also link cards so people can read them by putting double brackets around the full card name.

Purphoros, God of the Forge doesn't target, so yes. Sigarda, Heron's Grace gives hexproof, which prevents you from being targeted, but Purphoros just says "each opponent" so it still deals the damage. A spell or ability only targets if it explicitly uses the word "target" in its text.
