Lighthouse Chronologist with Multiplayer

Asked by VaraSatoshiOfficial 8 years ago

So I want to use Lighthouse Chronologist and I'm wondering if I take an extra turn after each of my opponents, does the turn order continue from the opponent who's turn I got the chronologist's turn from, onto the next person in the rotations, or does the turn order continue from me onto the next person, basically skipping the other people's turns?

In between each of your opponent's turns, you insert your own turn. So if there are 4 players, including yourself, and you are player A, the turn cycle would look like this if you just began your real turn:

A, B, A, C, A, D, A, (repeat from beginning).

If you didn't have a Chronologist, the turn order would be as normal:

A, B, C, D, (repeat from beginning).

Having an active Lighthouse Chronologist doesn't skip over other peoples turns, and it doesn't warp the turn order like Topsy Turvy does.

Raging_Squiggle So the turns wouldn't continue back from me, like A, B, then A, then B again, but they would go A, B, A, C, D, A?. Thanks!

Correct. You're not skipping other player's turns, you're just sneaking in an extra turn between each opponent's turns.

Well after each opponents turn. It may not be apparent from the examples given, but you take two turns in a row after your last opponent takes their turn. An extra turn followed by your normal turn. So let's show a two round cycle and keep the player with Lighthouse Chronologist as player A. It would go A, B, A, C, A, D, A, A, B, A, C, A, D, A.
