If Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient is equipped with Illusionist's Bracers when you use his ability will the ability happen twice? I know it sounds like a newb question but the wording has me confused.

Illusionist's Bracers copy activated abilities of the equipped creature. The abilith that Kurkesh, Onakke Ancient has is triggered, not activated, even though he is copying an activated ability.

The bracers won't do anything with his ability.
