Jegantha the wellspring and generic cost

How does Jegantha, the Wellspring work? Say I have Bring to Light and I want to use Jegantha, the Wellspring to pay for its full cost. Will that work? Like, does it actually count the number of mana? Or does it only pay for the colored mana and not the generic in the mana cost?

Only the from Jegantha's ability can be used to pay for Bring to Light. None of the other mana can be used and it won't be counted towards Converge.
