Is there interaction beetwen Blistercoil Weird and Illusionist's Bracers?

I mean, what happens if I equip Illusionist's Bracers on Blistercoil Weird and trigger his ability? Can I double this ability and give the weird infinite amount of +1/+1?

Illusionist's Bracers copies only activated abilities, as specified by its rules text. It does nothing on Blistercoil Weird .

There's no interaction between these two cards.

There are three different kinds of abilities: Activated, Triggered, and Static.

  • Activated abilities are always written as "Cost : Effect". This is the only kind of ability that Illusionist's Bracers works with, because it specifically talks about an ability being "activated".
  • Triggered abilities always start with "When / Whenever / At". This is the kind of ability that Blistercoil Weird has. It triggers when you cast an instant or sorcery, and is never "activated".
  • Anything else is some kind of Static ability.
