Interaction between Esix, Fractal Bloom and Old Gnawbone

Asked by Shimatzu 2 years ago

Does the trigger from Old Gnawbone create the tokens for each creature dealing combat damage seperate or does it create them all at once?

Example: If you were to deal 2 and 6 damage (not considering first and double strike of course), you obviously get 8 tokens, but do you get them at the same time for Esix, Fractal Bloom´s ability or do you have to choose?

For Old Gnawbone each creature that does combat damage will generate a separate trigger (in your example one instance that will generate 2 treasures and one that will generate 6). As the controller of triggers that are added to the stack at the same time, you determine the order in which they are added. Whichever one resolves first will be replaced by Esix, Fractal Bloom's ability. End result is you will get either 6 creature tokens and 2 treasures, or 6 treasures and 2 creature tokens.
