Indestructibility

Asked by flagg777 8 years ago

Just double checking:Indestructibility will save a creature on the battlefield from Supreme Verdict

It seems that will not work but I found a half half ruling that it does work.

Can I confirm that a creature with Indestructibility will stay on the battle field after Supreme Verdict is played?

Many thanks

Correct. Indestructibility will save a creature from any effects or SBA's that would destroy it.

Supreme Verdict destroys all creatures.

Having Indestructible means this creature cannot die due to damage or an effect that says destroy.

A creature enchanted by Indestructibility or that has Indestructible as an ability will live through Supreme Verdict or something like Blasphemous Act, but would not survive mass exile (Descend upon the Sinful) or mass -/- effects like Biting Rain if they have 2 or less toughness.
