If you order upkeep triggers do they resolve simultaneously or separately?

Basically my question is if my friend had demonic pact out and they were about to lose the game next upkeep and then they suspended curse of the cabal could they sacrifice demonic pact before losing or would they both trigger at the same time on his upkeep so he just loses?
If the only option you have left on Demonic Pact is "lose the game", sacrificing it during your upkeep will not save you - the trigger still occured and will make you lose, regardless of what what happens to Demonic Pact . You choose the mode as you put the ability on the stack - thus, you will have to get rid of DP prior to your upkeep, say your opponent's end step in order to save yourself.

the cards will trigger at the same time, but effects never resolve at the same time. the effects will be put onto the stack in the order that the owner chooses, and resolve in reverse order. note however that removing a permanent from play does not remove its effect from the stack. therefore the effect of Demonic Pact on the stack will resolve even if Demonic Pact is no longer on the field.
