If I'm running a mono black and I play akroma's memorial, can I still target my own creatures with black spells?

I'm running a mono black zombie deck and I like Akroma's Memorial the card states my creatures now have protection from black. Does this prevent me from targeting my own creatures with black spells, or does this only apply to my opponent?

As the card says, creatures you control have protection from black (and red). That means nothing of those colors can damage, enchant, block or target any of your creatures, regardless of it's controller. So yes, you won't be able to target your own creatures with black or red spells either (not that a great many black spells come to mind which you'd want to target your own creatures with :D ).

Protection applies to the creature and does not depend on who gave the protection to the creature. A permanent with protection from black cannot be:

Damaged, Enchanted, Blocked or Targeted (DEBT for short) by black sources

So, no, this is not black hexproof. You cannot target your own creatures with black spells.
